The goal of a liquid termite treatment is to apply a termite product to the area immediately below and around your foundation. Foam can also be applied to wall voids to control termites there. The treatment can either work as a barrier with the goal of keeping termites away, or as a “treated area” through which termites travel through, take back to the colony or through trophallaxis and are ultimately eliminated.

Your Resolve termite technician will use a combination of wall foaming, trenching and drilling in order to protect your home. They will inject the drill holes and fill the trenches with the best termite product available, such as Termidor SC. Like other leading liquid termiticides, Termidor is lethal to termites when they ingest it (which they do readily since they don’t know it’s there). But, unlike all other termiticides, Termidor is lethal by contact as well. Once a termite comes into contact with Termidor, they carry it back to the colony on their bodies. Other termites it contacts will itself become a carrier, contacting and infecting others. This is known as “The Transfer Effect”. With Termidor, termites are killed, dead. No excuses. Government and other tests in the US and abroad have shown that in 6 years there has been no break or reduction in Termidor’s effectiveness.
